My understanding of Responsible Management
You are invited to submit conceptual and empirically grounded essay that demonstrate your understanding of responsible management.
You are expected to define the concept, outline the key elements of the responsible management and explain why those elements are really essential nowadays. Provide examples. Think about the role, dynamics, and impact of corporations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental, and economic value.
Do not be confused with the terms: responsibility and responsible management. Here responsibility refers to a duty or an obligation to do something. Responsible management is about the duty of managers to insure that business organisations perform their tasks, functions or activities in view of subjects or issues that are crucially important for sustainable development of society at large.
Your essay should have a clear and systematic structure. You should define a problem (in the introduction section) and offer recommendations (in the conclusion) how you would change the current situation. Carefully reference all sources of information used, do not allow for plagiarism! Note that we use the Harvard style of referencing (see http://www.citethisforme.com/harvard-referencing).
Your essay should have a maximum of 2000 words, font 12, single spacing. Do not forget to reference the sources and list them at the end of the essay.
